Body: Octagon PortsAttaching the octagon ports is much like attaching other body pieces.  I visually positioned the octagon ports behind the inner skins. I used a hand clamp to hold each one in place while I marked the screw hole locations. 
 I then removed the port and used a center punch to re-mark the locations. Using a 1/8" bit, I drilled out the holes from the back of the skins.  In order to allow the mounting of the outer skin later, I countersunk the holes from the front of the skins.  After that, it was just a matter of attaching the octagon ports.  |
